What does it mean to be IATA Cass associated?

The Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS) is designed to simplify the billing and settling of accounts between airlines and freight forwarders. It operates through the program CASSlink, which is an advanced, global, web-enabled e-billing solution.

The CASS system is part of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 290 airlines or 82% of total air traffic. They support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues. The CASS supports streamlined invoicing and is basically a neutral settlement office.

Sales Manager Łukasz Łasa explains what this means for the MOL Logistics customers:

“From now on we can start working directly with all airline present in Poland. It means for our customers that we can fix space and long term rate for particular projects and support our customers in global supply chains more. We are very happy that MOL Logistics Poland reached the next level in our service portfolio. Our customers benefit the most reliable and stabile air freight service.”
